We are honoured to provide the Maskwacis community with excellence pre-hospital and out-of-hospital care. We provide emergency medical dispatch for the paramedics and in addition we dispatch for Maskwacis Fire Department.

Training

We provide CPR, First Aid, H2S, Dangerous Goods, Bear Awareness, Metal Health First Aid and More.

  • Copy of Class 4 Alberta Operators License or equivalent;
  • Drivers Abstract
  • Copy of Alberta College of Paramedics registration card;
  • Copy of Basic Life Support (BCLS) – Health Care Provider certification;
  • Copy of International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) or Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification
  • Copy of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider Level certification;
  • Copy of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Education for the Pre-hospital Professional (PEPP) certification

Our office can help guide you forward in your journey. The Alberta College of Paramedics recognizes and registers three levels of practice in Alberta, each with their own scope, as established in the Alberta Occupational Competency Profiles (AOCP)

  • Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
  • Emergency Medical Technologist-Paramedic (EMT-P)
